Program Directors

Coach John Towle

Minnesota Bulldogs AAU Basketball was founded in 2002 by John Towle with the intention to provide a program that helps athletes achieve their true potential in life. The Bulldogs program strives to provide basketball training skills that also apply to life skills: good sportsmanship, discipline, dedication and teamwork, in addition to building lasting, positive relationships with our athletes through a shared passion for basketball.

Coach Joshua Towle

Josh is a 2 years team MVP at Concordia Academy, Single Season State Record in Assists, 1000+ Scoring Club St and an 2004 All Tournament Team: State Tournament appearance. Josh also played college basketball at Morningside College in Sioux City, IA. He started his coaching career 5 years ago with the MN Bulldogs and RYBA Boys Traveling team. He truly works closely with the players to make sure they’re performing to the best of their ability.


Adam King

Adam has a BA in Sports Management and minor in coaching. He spent the last 4 years coaching at White Bear Lake for the Freshmen Boys team. He has been coaching with the Bulldogs for the past 3 years.

Jamie Fouks

Jamie currently is the White Bear Lake Girls Traveling Director and has held that position for the last 4 plus years. He has also been coaching in the WB Traveling program for the last 5 years as well as formerly coached for the MN Suns AAU program the last 2 years. He is a welcome and great addition to the Bulldogs family!

Nate Sheldon

Nate has been coaching the past two years at White Bear Lake as the Junior Varsity Coach. He does a great job at coaching, and training and mentoring our players, offering professional and quality guidance throughout the season.

David Michaelson

David coaching Roseville Boys Traveling Basketball 7C team and MN ICE AAU Basketball 14U team. He has been with the Bulldogs for four years now.

Dustin Hayes

Dustin spent the last 18 years as a personal trainer/basketball trainer, 12 years as the Assistant Head Coach of the White Bear Lake Boy’s Varsity team, 3 years coaching the youth football team for White Bear Lake Area Schools, 1 year for the White Bear Lakes basketball traveling team and 1 year with the Bulldogs 12U team.

Chris O’Neal

Chris is the Letter Winner University of WI River Falls Basketball. He also has two years coaching the White Bear Lakes Boys youth basketball team and football team.

Brent Kinder

Brent is a 4 year letter winner Augsburg Men’s basketball and he also spent the last 4 years coaching the MN Heat 15U Boys basketball team.

Ben Stewart

Ben has spent 3 years coaching the White Bear Lake Area Schools football teams and 2 years of the basketball teams.
